Happiness is largely a choice, not a right or entitlement.

Do Happy Be Happy
Happiness is a state of mind that many individuals strive to achieve in their lives. It is a feeling of contentment, joy, and overall well-being. While external factors can certainly impact our happiness levels, ultimately, happiness is a choice that we have complete control over. In other words, if we want to be happy, we simply need to do happy.
The concept of "do happy, be happy" suggests that by actively engaging in activities and adopting certain habits that bring us joy, we can increase our overall happiness levels. It is not enough to simply wish for happiness or hope for better days; we must actively take steps to cultivate happiness in our lives.
One way to do happy is by practicing gratitude.
Research has shown that expressing gratitude and acknowledging the positive aspects of our lives can significantly boost our happiness levels. By taking a few moments each day to reflect on what we are grateful for, we shift our focus away from negativity and instead cultivate a mindset of appreciation and happiness.
Another way to do happy is by engaging in activities that bring us joy.
Whether it's pursuing a hobby, spending time with loved ones, or engaging in physical exercise, finding activities that make us genuinely happy is crucial. By dedicating time to these activities and incorporating them into our daily lives, we infuse our days with a sense of joy and fulfillment.
Additionally, practicing self-care is an essential component of doing happy.
Taking care of ourselves physically, emotionally, and mentally is vital for our overall well-being and happiness. This can include activities such as getting enough sleep, eating nutritious foods, practicing mindfulness or meditation, and engaging in activities that relax and rejuvenate us. When we prioritize self-care, we are better equipped to handle the challenges of life and maintain a positive outlook.
Happiness is not the absence of problems, it’s the ability to deal with them.
Steve Maraboli
Surrounding ourselves with positive and uplifting people can greatly impact our happiness levels. The energy and attitudes of those we spend time with can have a profound effect on our own mindset. By choosing to surround ourselves with individuals who radiate positivity, support, and happiness, we create a nurturing and uplifting environment that encourages our own happiness.
It is important to note that happiness is not a destination but rather a continuous journey.
We may experience ups and downs along the way, but by actively doing happy through gratitude, engaging in joyful activities, practicing self-care, and surrounding ourselves with positivity, we can navigate through life's challenges with a greater sense of happiness and contentment.
It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness.
Charles Spurgeon
Happiness is a choice that we have about how we deal with the challenges life inevitably throws our way.
